Think Less ......

Think Less and Live More, my mission statement for now !
The past few weeks has seen little more than me staring into space thinking...too much time inside my head ends up like being on the fast spin in a washing machine. Do you know what i mean ?
My pens lie like little shipwrecks on my desk, the paper left blank.
Too much time pondering the mistakes, the knock backs, questioning what i am doing?
And ok its getting way to dull, so that is why i drew this quote picture...lets shout out loud

"Think Less Live More "

Look at this 7 year old, Eccentrically dressed for a very hot summers's day - track suit, socks, shoes, hat , glasses, its me !!! i was always busy creating, trying my hand at arts and crafts, and did i care if people liked it ? was i concerned if people thought i was a 'REAL' artist ?
simply No !
I created
I was Happy
I did it because i loved it
I want to harness my 7 years olds love and sense of fun and bring that back to my work.

What would your 7 year old self say to you ?

I felt that maybe trying something totally new would help in this process so i have signed up to a online painting course !

Its called "Paint Your Story "

I have been a huge Fan of Mindy's for a while and she is running this course which i feel will be a breath of fresh air, it focuses a lot on creating and letting go rather than the brain getting in the way...and i need some of that !!

Happy Friday, hope you have a lovely weekend, love to hear from your 7 year old selves or 7 year old elves :D
Love Heidi xxx

I think that sounds like a brilliant idea and I shall join you in asking what my 7 year old self would do! I'm often far too down on myself and really it's such a waste of time - especially when it stops you doing the stuff you really love 'just in case' other people don't like it. I think she'd say 'play more and stop worrying!'

That class is going to be amazing! I wish I could do it but the pennies just won't stretch. I hope you really really enjoy it :D

That photo of you is brill!

Sorry for the ramble, I just totally relate to what you have written.
