Draw me Happy

Draw me Happy,..... when i get asked to do a commission i draw and i am happy. It is a real challenge to me but one i really enjoy and appreciate, just lately i have been asked to do a few personalised birthday cards and illustrations. I thought i would share some with you, from sketches to finished pieces.

This was for a sweet couple, it was a surprise for her Boyfriend on Valentines !

I always like to spend time working from photographs and sketching ideas, trying to get a idea of the people i am drawing.

My initial sketches i drew the little boy too tall

thats why i am always going on about the value of sketching , some great ideas can been grown.

I love seeing other people sketches, the workings, the evolution of a idea into something,perfect pieces are not i feel  always what its about.

I have some personalised greeting cards here too

The above one was for a lovely teenagers 15th Birthday !

So here is the latest from me, other than never seeming to sleep and feeling like a zombie i am still drawing some how :D
