Reaching For the Stars

I am sending a Sunny Sea Side Hello to you all.

I have not been able to post as much as i have liked over the last few weeks as i have had so much going on.
But here i am with what is new, and looking forward to hearing from you :)

So where to begin...aghh yes Sunshine Smile Publications They did a wonderful feature on me and my work- a showcase no less.

And as some of you know i have opened up my Etsy shop. http://www.etsy.com/shop/LittleNore It has been a lot harder trying to work it all out than i imagined  and i made a few underestimates about postage overseas !!! Eeek !!! but it is all about learning, and through mistakes we learn...that is what i am telling myself. I have had such wonderful support and am so grateful for this. Boxes of Delight

Hello to you all, and Hello to lovely new followers too, Lovely to see you all here. How are you all ? and What's happening in your creative corner of the world? Always love to hear from you...so some news and thoughts from me......

Boxes of Delight, so here is a pic above of Little Nore studio, boxes of Delight. Each one has been hand painted and then the lids illustrated on 230gsm watercolour paper with a triple thick gloss  for a wonderful sheen and extra durability.This is just a taster of what's to come in my shop...opening soon!

Hand painted Pencil case

This box is perfect as a pencil case, although this one has been sold already! Pencils and pens fit cosily inside but of course it perfect for all sorts of gems, Pencils and pens are gems to me, but for some people its buttons, ribbons, beads, and for the more ritzy, pearls and diamonds!!! :0)

Lots of exciting opportunities have come up recently which i hope will come to fruition. I can't say too much but it means i am very busy working on some new illustrations with a focus on kids and the teen market. A little peek above gives you some idea on what i am working on..

I  am feeling a bit anxious at the changes if i am being honest....don't get me wrong excited too but  I have held my dreams of progressing in Illustrations for so long, and i am putting my heart and soul into it all and the anxiety comes from i guess fear of not being good enough, i know that this is possibly common amongst other creatives ? I think its important to speak of your hopes, dreams and even fears as naming your fears can sometimes help to squish them.

I will end my post on this pic showing you one of my trusty watercolours,  bit messy but you should see my desk !!! like a creative junk yard !
